Glenn Jacobs was born in 1967 on the 26th of April. Glenn was born in Madrid, Spain, where his father was stationed at the U.S. miltary base "Torre De Ardos". His parents, originally from the states, returned home with Glenn when he was about 18 months old. Glenn, now a 7 ft tall wrestler, was always large as a kid. This gave him an advantage in athletics. He was a notable basketball and football player, and was awarded a basketball scholarship to Quincy Universityin Illinois, but earned his teaching degrees at Truman University. In the 1988–1989 session, he
was an NCAA all-star and is still listed in the Truman State University media guide as holding the record for highest field goal percentage for a single season. A knee injury that he had suffered in college prevented him from joining NFL's Chicago Bears. Not really satisfied with his job as a substitute teacher, Glenn, a long time wrestling fan, decided to start working towards a career in pro wrestling.
He started his training in 1991 at Dean Malenko School in Florida. His career never really took off though, until he started with the Undertaker in 1997. His stage name since has been Kane. He currently works with the World Wrestling Federation (WWE) on its Raw brand. Kane has also appeared on Hollywood screens in "Jacob Goodnight” and "See No Evil".On August 23, 1995, he married Maurisa Jacobs neé Goins. Together, they live in Knoxville, Tenessee. Gleen does not have any children of his own, but has 2 step-daughters with his wife.
